Days 1-3: Negombo → Sigiriya → Polonnaruwa

Skip Colombo on arrival, drive straight to the Cultural Triangle. Climb Pidurangala for the Sigiriya view, then cycle Polonnaruwa's ruins.

Days 4-6: Kandy → Nuwara Eliya by train

Temple of the Tooth at dusk, then the world's most beautiful train ride into the tea hills.

Days 7-9: Ella → Yala safari

Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, then descend to Yala for a dawn leopard safari.

Days 10-14: South coast beaches → Galle → home

Mirissa for whales, Hiriketiya for surf, Galle Fort for sundowners. Fly home rested, not exhausted.
